New on Disney+ This Month (November 2026)
Nothing new joined this list in November. Every pick below was rechecked and is still streaming on Disney+ as of November 1.
HOPPERS (2026)

Hoppers is a delightful return to form for Pixar. This story of animals and humans coming together for the common good delivers laughs, awe, and genuine thematic heft, making it one of the studio’s finer entries of the 2020s.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
ENCANTO (2021)

Vibrant Afro-Latinx culture, eye-popping visuals, and toe-tapping songs from Lin Manuel-Miranda intersect with one of the House of Mouse’s most original and meaningful stories with Encanto, a dazzling showstopper that proves that Disney is still capable of magic.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
LOGAN (2017)

Adult-oriented Logan mixes some rather heavy thematic elements in with its gory violence and hard language to create a uniquely introspective, genuinely mature but welcomely visceral superhero experience. Extremely dark and as gritty as the sandy roads it takes place on, Hugh Jackman’s last stand as the manbeast once known as Wolverine proves an admirably sobering end for a complex character.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (2023)

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a mesmerizing animated spectacle that treads new ground, challenging the conventional tenets of power and featuring an introspective exploration of the ideals of heroism through a visually stunning multiverse. Opening new windows for where the larger story can go while remaining an engaging entry in itself, this is bar none the most exciting thing happening in the multiverse of super-movies.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (2015)

J.J. Abrams’ employment of nostalgia, character camaraderie and practical effects in Star Wars: The Force Awakens helps right the ship wronged by the George Lucas’ prequels, though it’s still not entirely fulfilling as a standalone story. Falling somewhere in the middle ground between the two trilogies, Star Wars 7 is a kessel run’s distance from amazing but could prove a necessary building block upon which the incoming sequels can add depth of character and story.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every Star Wars Movie, Ranked
INSIDE OUT (2015)

Inside the mind of an 11-year-old girl, her emotions scramble to keep her together after a move across the country. Pixar’s most inventive premise is also one of its most moving, and it might just make you rethink sadness.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014)

Guardians of the Galaxy may be poorly acted (Chris Pratt aside) but I’ll be damned if it’s not the closest thing we’ve ever got to that 1977 original masterwork. It’s wonky, weird, wild, completely cartoonish and fun as f*ck.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
BLACK PANTHER (2018)

Black Panther is a historic landmark of representation and inclusion on the big screen and has many elements to celebrate, most notably its kick-ass cast and many production marvels. The story and action spectacle however languish; the former, familiar; the latter, busy and uninspired. Black Panther does, however, boast one of the MCU’s most fully-developed villains in addition to one of its all-around best ensembles.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
SOUL (2020)

A remarkable achievement that lifts up and celebrates the human spirit, Soul ranks amongst Pixar’s best works and charters a life-affirming mission to the great beyond that’s sure to leave audiences peering deep within themselves.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
TOY STORY 5 (2026)

Toy Story 5‘ is a funny, heartbreaking, and insightful meditation on childhood in the digital age, asking what gets lost when screens begin replacing imagination. The gang is all here but it’s newly-minted Sheriff Jessie, in her journey to help her kid Bonnie make a real friend, that this story belongs to.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
ANT-MAN (2015)

Paul Rudd’s ex-con shrinks down to insect size for a heist, and Marvel goes small in the best way. It’s a breezy, funny caper with some of the most inventive action in the early MCU, including a climactic brawl on a toy train set.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019)

Avengers: Endgame accomplishes the magical task of wrapping up 12-years of storytelling while leaving the future bright and full of possibility and doing so in a nostalgic, self-referential, character-driven, technically-dazzling whirlwind that no other studio could really even dream of pulling off. It is the best Marvel movie to date.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (2014)

Days of Future Past takes its place in the crossroads between bold ideas and blockbuster pageantry and though maybe it’s not the most outright fun X-Men film to date (that honor goes to First Class), it might be the most important.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
ZOOTOPIA 2 (2025)

Funny, heartwarming, and thematically potent, Zootopia 2 is one of the better animated movies of the 2020s, but more importantly, it marked a pivotal moviegoing experience for this critic: my daughter’s first time at the altar of the cinema.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA (2024)

Young Woman and the Sea makes a strong case for the return of the inspirational Disney sports drama. It may play by familiar rules – even for a story about breaking rules and challenging authority – but this classically-mounted throwback ably balances nostalgia with a winning underdog story and sturdy performances.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
FROZEN (2013)

Adapting to a new generation of tech-savvy, open-minded youngsters, the House of Mouse also gives some much-needed wiggle room for Frozen to step away from Disney’s legacy of antiquated sexual identities, chartering a new and exciting course for post-feminist Disney princesses.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (2016)

Captain America: Civil War is the Marveliest Marvel movie yet. And in this context, that’s a good thing. With a battalion of supers at their disposal, Anthony and Joe Russo create a sublime visual feast tucked delightfully within an intriguing and ideologically satisfying narrative. The addition of Spider-Man and Black Panther only helps make the affair that much sweeter.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
CRUELLA (2021)

Emma Stone is simply incandescent in this Cruella De Vil origin story that exceeds the reach of its potentially lame premise. With a pair of head-turning performances from Stone and Emma Thompson, a script that’s as freewheeling and fun as it is invested in character, stunning costume design, and an exhilarating soundtrack of classic hits to back it all up, Cruella represents the best that Disney live action movies have to offer, particularly because it actually feels new.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (2017)

As watchable as a Baby Groot dancing GIF, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 merrily continues the saga of its lovable band of space rascals. Upping the emotional ante and providing truly stunning intergalactic set pieces while leaning heavily on a pitch perfect playlist, James Gunn creates a sequel that, while very much in the same vein of its forebearer, is an effortlessly enjoyable summer blockbuster sure to please most inhabitants in this galaxy.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER (2022)

Chadwick Boseman’s unexpected passing informs the heart and soul of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, a richly-textured, thematically-layered follow-up to one of Marvel’s biggest and best. The production elements shine and the writer-director Ryan Coogler finds a way to move the story forward while paying genuine tribute to his friend and collaborator. The best of Phase 4.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
ONWARD (2020)

All in all, Onward casts a spell but it’s a relatively mild one, one that’s mainly aimed at the viewer’s emotional side and can only take partial advantage of its magical setting.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
THE INCREDIBLES 2 (2018)

Incredibles 2 offers so much to love, a charming voice cast, dazzling and inventive set pieces, a keen sense of wit, and charitable cultural commentary, that it’s relative familiarity is essentially a non-issue. After a long stay on the sidelines, Pixar has returned to form.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
TOY STORY 4 (2019)

Toy Story 4 succeeds as a fleet-footed and charming animated spectacle but its underlying deconstruction (and denouncement) of the moral imperatives of blind love and loyalty that have always driven the franchise make it worth dwelling upon long after closing time. Another deep endeavor from Pixar.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018)

Avengers: Infinity War draws together its ridiculously large ensemble to tell an epically-sized story with purpose and vision, sparring no shortage of the zippy one-liners and computer animated wizardry that Marvel is known for. The third Avengers flick likely won’t win over new converts but should satisfy fans craving a bloody showdown with Thanos, even if the movie ultimately fails to be self-contained.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
DEADPOOL 2 (2018)

This juvenile, scatalogical, and hopelessly violent celebration of cinematic immaturity is nonetheless irresistibly entertaining. Aided by some stellar new cast additions, Deadpool 2 is super-smart-ass ruckus perfected; an all-around improvement on its predecessor.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET (2018)

Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet is the cinematic equivalent of clickbait – you just can’t help yourself but follow it down the rabbit hole. Its easy nostalgia-fueled laughs, clever world-building, and delightful characters make for a breezy distraction, but not one of Disney Animation’s bests.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (2017)

A virtual clone of the 1991 animated feature, with a few added scenes and songs that strengthen rather than detract, Beauty and the Beast is a resplendent display of stylish big budget filmmaking. Brimming with earnestness and heart, Disney’s latest live action adaptation boasts a knock-out cast (Watson, Stevens, Gad and Evans are spectacular) making this enchanting remake a wonderful tale as old as time with some splashy updates.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
THOR: RAGNAROK (2017)

Pulsing with side-splitting energy, Thor: Ragnarok thrives working outside the boundaries of the tightly wound, hawkishly overlorded Marvel Cinematic Universe. A neon-plated smear of laughs bursting with colorful characters and jaw-dangling FX work, Ragnarok really is something to marvel at when viewed as a comedy even if it’s limited by the usual cinematic universe constraints.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
MOANA (2016)

Moana doesn’t really break new narrative ground for Disney – though the lack of a romantic angle is refreshing – but its hypnotic visuals, winning voice cast and catchy tunes make it a splashy family-friendly delight from start to finish.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review
ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (2016)

There’s no getting around it, ‘Rogue One’’s clunky script leaves something to be desired but wowing visual glamor, classic Star Wars feel, a darker nature and that killer third act (and final scene) more than make up for screenwriting shortcomings.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every Star Wars Movie, Ranked
SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME (2021)

A legacy sequel that overdelivers on its promise to wrangle the three generations of Spider-Man together, Spider-Man: No Way Home is essentially a live-action Spider-Verse film that, while juggling a ton of balls, manages to be the best superhero movie.▶︎ Watch on Disney+ · Read the full review · Every MCU Movie, Ranked
